It's on! The Mummers will march down Broad Street on New Year's Day.
A meeting was held at 4 am on the morning of Friday, and the City parade director Leo Dignam said that the target date:

"We are holding our breath, but caught in the middle, it will be very windy on Saturday and Sunday and cold. And obviously, it rained all day on Thursday as well, got lucky."
